I have always enjoyed playing and watching sports for as long as I can recall. I am a big fan of the Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, and New England Patriots even though I call Charlotte, North Carolina home. One of my proudest accomplishments was being the leadoff hitter and starting center fielder as well as the shortstop for the North Carolina 9u Cal Ripken baseball State Champions and Regional Runner Ups. I remember falling in love with basketball at an even younger age and have always enjoyed the competition and friendships I have built with teammates. When I am not out playing sports you can find me in the warmer months riding my bike on various trails with my friends. In addition, I enjoy our family road trips each year to New York to spend time with my aunts, uncles, and cousins. In my free time, I like to play video games with my friends and watch movies. One of my favorite movies is the Goonies.
My drive and focus on the game has made my basketball IQ so incredibly high that I can see the entire floor for every play. What separates me from other players is my ability to make other players around me better. When I can take the shot, I do, but I will also pass the ball to an open teammate for an assist. I have the ability to handle pressure and make shots from all three levels of the court. I have a good range and can hit 3s as easily as mid or short-range jumpers. I understand the importance of playing defense including using my communication skills to call plays and keep the team playing as one strong unit.
